Showcasing Calgary's youth talent! The 2013 GlobalFest Youth Forum wraps up its tour of Calgary schools on Thursday, May 2 at 7:00 p.m. with a final showcase presentation of Urban Art forms at the National Music Centre.

Up to 10 people will meet from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM to organize, improvise, and rehearse a theatrical performance which will be performed at Paved Arts the same night as part of the talent showcase.

-Rewarding dancers with opportunity and experience they can learn from through our professional dance workshops.
-Helping schools to raise money for their dance programs.

For National Arts Week EcoJustice (a grade eight outdoor education program) is putting on workshops for grades six to eight, which are going to be called Funjucation. These workshops include a puzzle mural, music workshop, canvas painting workshop, a dancing workshop, graffiti style workshop, spoken word art workshop and a face painting will be going on for most of the day. It will be hosted at the Cosmo Civic Center in Confederation, times will be 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for schools only and 3:00 to 4:00 is for any public who would like to participate, of all ages! An outdoor event showcasing the diversity of arts in Saskatoon. A stage will set up with live music and poetry. There will also be everything from an art/craft sale to prop (hula hooping, juggling, etc.) workshops.
