Through various forms: photography, digital imagery, mixed media collage, do-it-yourself sculpture and installation, artists reflect upon and at times mimic urban scenarios while offering insight, and providing a platform for negotiating these contemporary states of being. A collection of inspired performances, showcases and exhibitions comes together to create Arts Umbrella's yearly festival of the arts. Expressions is an opportunity to celebrate young artists and their arts learning from the past year.
Every discipline, every class, and virtually every Arts Umbrella student from Spring session has work represented, allowing them to take pride in their accomplishments, and share that pride with family, friends, and the broader public.

From 7:00 pm to midnight, teens are welcome to participate in three free art workshops: Sculpture from 7:00 to 8:30, Life Drawing (with a clothed model) from 8:45 to 10:15, and Printmaking from 8:30 to midnight. All workshops are taught by professional artists with a wealth of experience to share. No materials are required!

This year the Art Fusion Festival will take place at at Mel Lastman Square, Toronto on Sat. May 4th. The festival will attract an attendance of 3,000 people based on the record of 900 people attending last Art Fusion on Jan 19, 2013 (see information below). It will showcase local talents across the arts spectrum, from painters to acrobats, musicians to performance dancers.
ART Fusion currently unites 15 art/music collectives from Toronto and GTA area, where artists can join and perform for free. Our Mission is to offer an OPEN STAGE for:
any type of performance
any artist to showcase ARTWORK for FREE
any Collective to JOIN IN

Join The Arts Council of Sault Ste. Marie & District at Passport to Unity. We will be hosting the youth Art's section, featuring knitting tutorials and Play-do sculptures!
The knitting tutorials will then be used to yarn-bomb our city!
