StreetGraphix is a youth-focused, participatory knowledge based initiative aimed at raising awareness (prevention/harm reduction), for Saskatoon Youth, of health risks associated with HIV, through the development of graphic novel storylines with students (youth ages 11-29).

Borderline brings together five artists whose work calls to attention the urban landscape, one that is always shifting. Through various forms: photography, digital imagery, mixed media collage, do-it-yourself sculpture and installation, artists reflect upon and at times mimic urban scenarios while offering insight, and providing a platform for negotiating these contemporary states of being. Artists include: Tyler Armstrong, Steve deBruyn, Sarah Febrarro, Ryan Legassicke and Mary Porter.

Expressions is an opportunity to celebrate young artists and their arts learning from the past year. From 7:00 pm to midnight, teens are welcome to participate in three free art workshops: Sculpture from 7:00 to 8:30, Life Drawing (with a clothed model) from 8:45 to 10:15, and Printmaking from 8:30 to midnight. All workshops are taught by professional artists with a wealth of experience to share. No materials are required!

YAP (Youth Anthology Project) will be holding its community fundraising event in order to raise funds for the printing of its anthology. YAP is a community project which is gathering the work of young artists and publishing it in a paperback book. The anthology is a culmination of creative writing, visual art, photography, and graphic design by local young artists aged 14-24 from Kingston and the surrounding area. The event will host live music, live theatre, slam poetry performances, live visual artists creating pieces within a four hour period to be sold, culinary arts for our bake sale, a silent auction of prints of visual art that will be included in the anthology, a raffle of prizes generously donated by local buisnesses, and the sale of YAP merchandise and advanced book order forms for the purchase of the anthology.

Art Lab: Music and Mood - Wall of Sound / Cinco de Mayo Celebration is a special Sundays in the Studio event at the Art Gallery of Windsor which will invite youth to interpret musical ideas into visual language, using colour, line, and other forms of visual expression. The panels will then be collected and assembled into a large, wall-mounted mosaic! Sundays in the Studio events are presented with the support of Anne Safranyos and family.
